Testarossa

Leonard Testarossa is Tessa’s older twin brother, and a genius like her. Leonard joined Mithril’s enemy, Amalgam, and operates under the assumed identity Mister Silver. He has been known as the smarter of the two, leading him to believe he is higher than everyone around him. Due to events in his past, he has many mental and emotional traumas which take shape in his plans within Amalgam to ‘change the world’.

Gauron is an infamous terrorist, and is one of the primary antagonists in the first half of the story. He is as cunning as he is unstable, taking enjoyment in killing whoever he can to achieve what he wants. When he runs into Sousuke, Gauron greatly enjoys messing with him, bringing up his past and saying anything to set him off. At some point he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, and it can easily be assumed he wanted to die under his own terms.

Takuma was a young man part of the primarily Japanese terrorist group called A-21. He had been taking various drugs to be capable of operating the Lambda Driver within the massive Arm Slave, Behemoth. He was already unstable before the drugs, having murdered his parents and sister. He shows fits of rage and anger at the smallest things, though it’s unclear if he was like this before taking the drugs he was given by A-21.

Seina was a member of the primarily Japanese terrorist group A-21, and appears to be in her late teens or early twenties. She was very focused on locating Takuma in order to fulfill their goal of him operating the Behemoth, and fed his delusion of her being his sister whom he had murdered. She spoke briefly with Kalinin, the two coming to an agreement of sorts. She died not long after the activation of the Behemoth.

ANTAGONISTS

A member of Amalgam, his exact ethnicity and nationality is unknown, but he appears to be East Asian. A member of Amalgam, he spends much time after Sousuke, as the two were enemies back in Lebanon. After quitting smoking, he can be seen carrying a cigarette case with ginseng sticks instead.  In Namsak, he was killed by Sousuke after seriously wounding him, and as they each lay dying, he told Sousuke a few locations where he might find Kaname.

Sabine is a teenage Polish girl from Lodz who acts as Leonard Testarossa’s personal assistant and bodyguard. As a young girl, her mother sold her to a police officer, and she killed them both then became a mafia hitman. She pilots one of 3 Eligors and uses electronic feints and tricks to deceive her opponents. She fought with Mao during the final battle, taken down by her and Kurz. Escaping her AS, she changed the commands on the nuclear missiles for Merida out of jealousy of Kaname.

A member of Amalgam's execution squad, he was never named in the novels, simply referred to as Mister K (Kalium), his position later filled by Kalinin. Downright insane, he enjoys inflicting pain on others, and is often seen living in a delusion where he is fighting against a cruel world while ignoring the fact that he caused the very tragedies he is wailing over. He was killed in Hong Kong by Sousuke, which put an end to that volatile situation.

Gauron raised twin orphans he found to be killers. The eldest is a skilled Arm Slave pilot, the youngest an assassin gifted in hand-to-hand and knife combat. Between the three media forms of the series, their appearance and names changed, and even their sex and ethnicities. The eldest is Fei Jau in the novels, Xia Yui Fan in the anime, and Lena in the manga. The youngest is Fei Hung, Xia Yui Lan, and Julia, respectively.

Casper is possibly the greatest sniper in the world known simply as 'Ghost,' and the mercenary who trained Kurz Weber. Not much is known about him aside from the time he spent with Kurz, but sometime after that he was recruited by Amalgam and joined their ranks, earning the title of Mister Tin.

Little is known of Fowler, his origins remain a mystery. Clouseau considered him a challenging adversary due to his impressive martial arts and Arm Slave piloting skills. Fowler and Clouseau fought in the snowy mountains of Panjshir in Afghanistan during the final stand-off between Mithril and Amalgam, the fight close, but ultimately won by Clouseau. When asked about his origins before dying, Fowler recounted a story similar to the Jackie Chan film, Drunken Master.

Sofia was the daughter of Doctor Dmitri Belov, a scientist at the secret underground lab Yamsk 11. She was subjected to all kinds of inhuman treatment, her weight dropping to a meager 35kg (77lbs), her skin rough and pale, her hair thin and falling out. At 18, she was hooked up to the first TAROS machine and suffered 3 minutes of agony, during which psychic Iota and Tau waves covered the planet. The Iota waves completely dispersed, and Tau waves continued, and are what Sofia uses to communicate with the Whispereds.
